This directory was created by DCP at noon on October 5, 1980.

It is designed to hold various DOVER utility programs. I (DCP)
plan on putting a program to merge PRESS files and graphics files
(e.g. ARDS) and a program to display PRESS files on graphics
terminals (PLASMA tv's, AI tv's), much as XD displays XGP files.

There will also be temporary programs to test algorithms related
to the devlopment of such programs.

Perhaps this should directory should be the standard place for
standard DOVER programs, perhaps not.
